Police Brutality/ Environmentalism
Max Duboff, Marco Izquierdo.
Article 5 - No one shall be put through torture, or any treatment or punishment that is cruel, or makes him or her feel less than human.
Article 7- All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.
Anthony Kapel “Van” Jones from Jackson Tennessee is defending in the case of police brutality.
The Earth is filled with beauty, it has limitless points of view, it is how people look at it in their own perspective, its a wonderful place. Also to feel safe in it would not be a question, since it looks good right?,wrong! It is no doubt that the world is full corruption, and a lot of good people attempt to resolve and find other ways against bad. Well besides all the narcotics, continued warfare, and gangland all around, to think that the ones that serve and protect would be the ones we fear. where is that feeling of being safe, where is our rights?! Together, we must not sit and let the officers abuse our human rights, together we must stand and speak what's going on with safety and protection. It is true that there have been attempts and were success, like the Bay Area Police Watch,or the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights (EBC). But in the end, it always comes down to the actions of the commanding officer.
Although some defenders of human rights (Chen Guangcheng,Tibetan Activists, Women in Bhopal) are activists that are not entitled or paid to protest or argue a case, they are main leaders in the case and fight for equality and defense for the people between it all. Some Human Rights defenders reach a point in their life where they feel that a change must be made in society and become activists. Others feel they have the right to speak and they do dedicate their life to a certain issue that changed them before. As a result of their own personal experience or whatever chance they get, Human Rights Defenders both just want to make a difference. Anthony Kapel Jones is that activist right for defending our Human Rights from police brutality.
